John O'Farrell, G.S.C. President
John co-founded
TOFCON construction with Jim Tsarouhas, a prior rival at Ellis-Don Construction,
in April 2000. John brings more than 14 years of industry experience
to this company.
John began his career with V.K. Mason Construction in Montreal, Quebec
than Ottawa, Ontario, following graduation from the Civil Engineering
Technology program at Dawson College in Montreal.
John was one of the first employees scouted by PCL Construction upon
their arrival to Ottawa in the late 1980's. He was part of a strong
team that grew from 7 employees to more than 60 during his 10 year stay.
John was involved with projects primarily in the Ottawa area, but also
Halifax, Nova Scotia and Seattle Washington.
